Procedure Technique
Generally, Juvéderm® treatments take about 35-45 minutes based on how many areas we need to treat. First, the medical provider will clean your face and mark your injection sites. To determine which areas need to be treated, you will be assessed by one of our medical providers during a complimentary consultation. To minimize discomfort during the treatment, Juvéderm® dermal fillers contain a local anesthetic (lidocaine). During your consultation, the provider will review any possible allergies. Following your treatment, you can continue with your daily routine; however, you should avoid strenuous activities, like exercise, for at least 24 hours. Please avoid putting your hands on your face after your treatment to prevent moving the filler into unintended areas.
Your Juvéderm® Treatments
You should see a visible improvement immediately following your Juvéderm® injection, however, light swelling or bruising near the treated areas may occur. You may experience these symptoms for approximately 5-7 days. Juvéderm® results typically last from 8 months to a year. After a few years of Juvéderm® treatment, some patients find that their results last longer.
