PRP Therapy Candidates

Procedure Technique
After you’re seated comfortably in one of our private treatment rooms, we will draw blood from your arm and place it in a centrifuge machine. Usually, we remove about four tablespoons or one vial worth of blood. After approximately 15 minutes on the centrifuge machine, the different components of the blood will separate, and then we can inject it into your skin. We will place your concentrated plasma into a sterile syringe and inject it into different parts of the face. We will discuss the injection points during your consultation. PRP therapy typically takes about five minutes, but this will vary for each patient.
Your PRP Therapy
PRP therapy naturally promotes collagen production and elastin to enhance the appearance and texture of your skin. Because we use your blood, the risk of allergic reaction is virtually eliminated. Following your PRP therapy treatment, your face will appear slightly red because a few red blood cells are included in the plasma injection. You can use cold compresses on the injection sites to reduce discomfort or minor swelling. To maintain results, we recommend you undergo treatments every 4-6 weeks.
