Your Morpheus8 Consultation
The Procedure
Before the Morpheus8 treatment session starts, the target areas will be numbed using local anesthesia or a numbing cream. The former is often used for deeper Morpheus 8 treatments.
Once the regions are numb, a skincare expert will place the Morpheus8 device against the skin of the target area. The device uses microneedles to penetrate the epidermis and dermis and deliver the radiofrequency’s thermal energy. This process stimulates the production of collagen, new skin cells, and elastin.
The session may last 15 minutes to an hour, depending on how big the treatment area is and how many areas are getting treated.
Aftercare
No downtime/recovery time is needed, but you may experience some itching, swelling, or redness for one to three days after the procedure. You can start applying makeup within one or two days of the treatment. Results will continue to show for three months as the new collagen remodels the treatment areas.
